Clear Align Adds New Vice President of Business Development - Growth Demands Expanded Customer Support
Philadelphia, PA. March 16th, 2008 – Philadelphia, PA. 5 March 2009 – Clear Align announced today that David Huff has joined Clear Align as the Vice President of Business Development for the Fiber Optics Business Unit. “David brings strategic thinking and a dedication to customer service that is unique in our industry,” said Angelique X. Irvin, CEO of Clear Align. “His experience in technology development, commercialization and manufacturing operations will benefit our customers greatly and bring together a complex and sophisticated operation to enhance and optimize the customer experience.”
David has over 26 years of experience in defense, optics and technology development. With broad experience in the optoelectronics and RF electronics industries, Mr. Huff most recently was a Vice President at the Optoelectronics Industry Development Association in Washington, DC where he helped define industry direction in optoelectronics for both defense and commercial applications and drove the vision towards “Green Photonics.” Prior to his work at OIDA, he was a Vice President at T-Networks, which concluded with a successful merger in 2005. Until that time, he was Vice President at Multilink Technology Corporation, where he was responsible for product strategy and business development of complex fiber optic components, leading to a successful IPO in 2001. Prior experience included marketing and engineering management assignments in RF fiber optics, wireless communications, satellite millimeter wave systems, and fiber gyroscope development at Hughes Aircraft and Ortel. David was awarded an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the California Institute of Technology.
