Berwyn, PA, September 7, 2005 - Clear Align LLC, based in Berwyn, Pennsylvania has teamed with Northrop Grumman Corporation’s Navigation Systems Division of Woodland Hills, California to develop next generation submarine and underwater fiber optic acoustic technologies.

Clear Align is working with Northrop Grumman on low noise laser technology for future sonar and surveillance systems. Additionally, the companies have commenced development of fast optical switching techniques which promises to significantly reduce the cost and improve reliability of current submarine systems. “We are pleased to be selected for a program that is critical to US submarine systems performance enhancement” stated Clear Align’s CEO, Angelique X.
