Measurement Quality Jumpers (MQJ) Parts

All parts, assemblies, sub-assemblies, or end items procured under this contract that have MQJ as a descriptor shall use the following requirements as guidelines for construction and testing:

Fabrication and test procedures for Measurement Quality Jumpers (MQJs)

  • MIL-STD-2042,
  • NSWCCD-SSES ltr9504, Ser 96315/067 (Appendix A),
  • TIA/EIA-526-14 (Method A),
  • TIA/EIA-492XXXX, etc

There shall be documentation of the process used to produce the cables including test data. This documentation and data shall be available for inspection in accordance with the contract.

In addition to the construction requirements, all cables shall be made durable to accommodate frequent handling by incorporating strain reliefs and other appropriate measures to ensure operational performance in a Class 2 Naval environment.

All cables shall incorporate test probes with self-contained insertion/release mechanisms equal to Glenair design for compatibility with MIL-DTL-38999 Series I and III circular connectors using MIL-PRF-29504/4 and /5 termini
