Accounts Payable Analyst

 

Clear Align is looking for a full-time experienced Accounts Payable Analyst with a strong attention to detail to join our rapidly-growing team. The successful candidate must have an in-depth knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and bring with them intermediate Excel and data analysis skills as well as a positive can-do attitude. This position will report to the Accounting Manager.

essential duties & responsibilities
  • Enters invoices on a predetermined schedule keeping all vendors within contractual terms
  • Addresses vendor inquiries
  • Responsible for preparing check runs
  • Maintain AP documentation to assist in cash reconciliation process
  • Reconcile AP transactions
  • Post transactions to journals, ledgers, and other finance records
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
  • Support accounting with accurate data entry
  • Assist with the monthly closing process and supporting the Accounting Manager in carrying out the responsibilities of the Accounting Department
  • Maintain document control processes related to paid invoices including scanning and electronic filing
position requirements
  • 2-5 years Accounts Payable experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance a plus
  • Manufacturing accounting experience a plus
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and ability to summarize and document work
  • Ability to work and interact within a team structure as well as the ability to work independently
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word software
  • Strong interpersonal skills and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-starter dedicated to continual improvement
  • Basic ERP understanding and experience
  • Experience using Visual Manufacturing ERP software a plus
